View Full Version : Custom Large Plenum 8V Intake Manifold FS

I have a custom built intake manifold that was built by Aaron Miller (8Valves). It was never used. It has a "D" shaped 4 litre plenum with two hand crafted veloctiy tulips. I also drilled and tapped two 1/8"NPT threads for supplemental injection over each tulip. It already has an IAT sensor port drilled and tapped (I'll even through in the IAT sensor). It also has 3 (unsure of the thread) threads in the end of the plenum for vacuum supplies. The runners are mainly stocked but ported slightly in the upper regions.

It has been sand blasted and painted silver. This would surely help any 8 valve meet some outstanding goals.

Asking $300 shipped.

Thanks!
-Bryan

Yes.

I don't quite understand what you're asking. It was welded to a 1piece plenum originally. I'll get pictures soon.

1 piece with box/plenum if it's the same one Aaron showed in his intake thread that Brian bought.

He asked if its a 2 piece intake with the upper plenum modified or a modified one piece intake, ;)

BTW, change your sig to "traitor" :eyebrows:

Just for reference, it should be about 3.5L total displacement.

does that 3.5 liters include the runners as well? Cause doing the math I don't see how you can make the plenum long enough to get 3.5 liters out of it and still have room for the PS pump and to get a hose onto the TB.

No, no runners.

Internal volume should calculate out to right around 3.0X liters. I'm not sure how to take the velocity stacks into consideration to be honest.

I apologize for not being specific enough. I was just running quickly and used OD measurements without thinking twice. My mistake.

Regardless of which, it's plenty for a very healthy 8V car, drag or street.

Thanks for the info Aaron. Like he said it's a very good unit to make any serious numbers out of an 8V.

Here's his post on it- http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15441&highlight=plenum

Please PM me or post here. I am willing to negotiate. I would like to sell it soon. Thanks!

PS: Yes the van is sold to my dad, it's at Rob Pachner's house now. I wiped out the front clutchs, the pinion gears, and the torque converter. He's rebuilding the trans and getting a new TC, then driving it through the winter.

I wrecked my Golf into a curb. Apparently Nitto's don't work too well in the rain. ;) I just need a new rim. So now it sits.

Hopefully, as long as I get some time right away at the new job.
