Anyone know if a T-2 fan will work bolt up to l-body and what amps they draw compared to a 12 or 14 " aftermarket one thanks todd:D

If your talking about useing a T2 rad/cooler in an l-body with the T2 fan, then no. If you ever get a chance take a look at the glhs fan motor, it's recessed by 2-3" compared to the big car fan. Instead hit of the j/y and pick up a A-body (acclaim/spirt) 3.0 fan. It can be made to fit with a small amount of work (a bit of trimming and a new end on the harness) and it looks pretty stock.

Fan housing motor is thicker on the daytona/shadow, ect. L-bodys got a different fan motor assembly. If you need one look at the Mr Gasket ones that summit sells. Here is the link. Fits fine in a L-body and doesn't draw many amps.

mrg-1987 is the one you need.

Todd, the fan should fit, but I can't remember if the bolt holes at the top are spaced the same.

The old factory fans draw a decent amount of amperage, more than a more modern factory or aftermarket one with a pancake style motor. Anything has got to be better than the goofy two blade fan the GLH came with...
