The Gallery....

I made a watermark to put on the images the other day... its permenant. I personally think its a great idea. While it is slightly too big, it helps get our name out there, etc. Several people have voice their concerns that it isnt flexible enough and or defeats some of the purpose behind having members pay to use the gallery.

I am going to begin researching how I can restore just those files from my daily backup, but I would like your opinion... after all you keep up and running.

Well this poll is now point less. The backup utility that I was using will only restore and account. Which means that in order to restore the pictures, it requires me to do a backup for the entire domain... which means loss of content for the last 24hrs. Not worth it. I will be revising the watermark so all future pictures added will be smaller and lower. I will also be running a seperate sql backup utility to keep this from happening again.

It really doesn't matter too much to me, but I did notice it last night. I think it's fine, just as long it's not obstructing the main focus of the picture. Perhaps make it smaller and translucent.

The size isn't much different. The position is better though.

Well I am still going to try and restore the database so we can start the images over fresh without those original watermarkers. At least all future ones will be clean and neater.

This goes for anyone, but if you zip up your pictures and send them to me, I will erase and re upload all pics for you. Its a bit easy as a moderator to do bulk options. Let me know.
