With winter around the corner I am going to be in need of a new daily driver/winter beater. I am looking to spend around 1k and it must run and drive. I can travel to pick up a car but can't linger to far away, should be in the MN, WI, IA, ND, SD general area.

Let me know if you have anything!:)

Thanks,
Ryan

Youre not allowed to use a turbo mopar for a winter rat.

Its kinda funny.....thats how I got started with these cars. I used to be big into Pontiacs (still am, just not as much) and I always had f-bodys. My winter rats consisted of 2 shelby chargers, an 87 CSX and an omni GLH clone. Now, I have come to appreciate them a bit more, but I still drive my turbo mini as my winter beater.

Good luck though. Theres a lot of these cars that are already rot boxes and suitable as a winter beater.

Yeah, I am trying to avoid driving one of my Spirit R/Ts in the winter. I would love another turbo van for a winter beater, except I would need it to have heat. I don't want to go throught that again. I might be making up a deal to get a regular turbo Spirit but I am not sure if I want to be "That guy". People might start thinking I am crazy if I have 3 Spirits.:D

I think technically you are considered crazy after the first spirit/80's TD purchase according to my wife. Having 3 just removes all doubt.

Strangly my girlfriend is pretty accepting of my TM's, the only one she had a problem with was my minivan. Usually her response when I say I am looking at this or I want that is "Get it" or "Go for it". Although, somehow I never end up with the car when she says that... Hmmmm:confused:

Willing to drive to PA? Sell you my Daytona with the tranny needed to make it run for $1100.
