Autocrossed for the first time today...

in my minivan. Yup, that's right...in my minivan. I was slow on the el crapo tires I have, but it was freaking awesome. I posted a 51 sec lap (first time ever), my buddy posted a 47 sec lap in my minivan. As a reference, there was a 300hp civic there that was running 36 sec laps. I won't say this often, but that civic was AWESOME. Turbocharged and supercharged...very fast. We were slow, but we're hoping that we at least beat someobody with the van. With a little bit of traction, it would have gone a LOT faster. Those tires were SINGIN!

Not my most successful outing ever, but I think I'm hooked. I can't wait to get the charger done and running so I can take it to more autocrosses.
