Just a teaser, still putting the car back together but I'm just too happy with how it has turned out not to share at least one little picture. Will have a whole thread or page on my site once I get all the in-progress pictures organized. Car was taken down to bare metal, rust in the rockers repaired, dents and dings fixed and repainted in PPG base/clear. Stock exotic red (PR1) color. Also put in new windshield and rear window. The pumpers on the car in this photo are only temporary, I have another set that I am refinishing that will get put on there once I'm done with them.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, this is my favorite car in my collection. For those that don't know the car already it's one of 300 89 Competition Package Shadows. 2.5 TI rebuilt by me in 2001, intercooled, has a 555 where the 520 used to be, koni's, CSX springs and a few other goodies. Was my daily driver for a few years before the clear got thin and the car started getting ugly. Took it to my Uncle Mike out in western Iowa who did the paint and body work.

how dare you only post one picture!

Here's a naked picture of it (it had just turned 18years old at the time).

Thanks Tim, Gonna have to pass on that 94 Shadow, I've got a beater 95 neon that serves as my daily driver/winter vehicle.

My Shadow isn't going to see as much use as it used to, I've got a nice cover coming for it and it will sit in the garage under a cover when I'm not using it. Nice days, weekends and car shows I'll be sure to bring it out though. For sure no more nasty salty Chicago winters.

Been a while since I've looked at the odometer, but if remember correctly it's just shy of 190k miles. Had 159K miles in 2001 when I first got it running.

Thanks Paul, that was a fun trip, hard to believe that was almost 8 years ago...

I sneak out to the garage every morning before work just to make sure I wasn't dreaming that I own two turbo cars with paint...:p
