I'm having trouble taming boost. I get a nice healthy 17psi all the way through first, 1/3 of the way through second, then I get about 12psi in 3rd, and 7-10psi in 4th.
Anyway, I'm looking at an AEM Tru-Boost electronic boost controller. Like this one:

Does anyone have experience using an E-BC?

What kind of car and setup do you have. Normally an EBC won't solve that problem.

89 LeBaron GTS, TII 5sp a555.
2.5" exhaust, k&n drop in, blow off valve.
Why wouldn't an EBC do that? Wouldn't it cycle the wastegate to keep it steady at a certain boost level?

How are you controlling boost now? It really should not be falling off like that unless you have a super duper ported head and a stock TII turbo that is maxed.
You could make a custom cal yourself that controlled boost in what ever way you want for a very small price.

Nah, I have a homemade MBC and it doesn't work too well. I had a G-valve on my Caravan back in the day and it was tough to control that, too.

you should be hitting fuel cutout anyways so something is wrong.
