O.k.
finally got the wife a ' 96 caravan sport 3.3 auto
needed a trans. did that
found a butchered wire
if you follow the battery cable + from the battery to the fuse box
another wire comes off that stud and goes under the battery box
in a bigger harness (the wires were twisted together and taped)
fixed that
air bag light is on and horn and cruise don't work
while getting the trans. computer reflashed
found out the clock spring was covered under recall still
dealer's doing that later this week with 2 other recalls
when I picked the car up the wipers were parked incorrectly
wipers switch wouldn't work unless you pushed in the washers
then it would work on high/intermittent
swapped mulitfunction switch since it was easy to do
swapped wiper motors since I heard the park was in the motor
did check both fuses and both relays for the wipers
still nothing different
I was told it maybe a body computer
Is this the computer on the back of the fuse block?
can I swap in a used one?
does it need to be flashed for my vin/options ect...?
also on the way home from work the t-signals stopped working
the rear power vent windows work when they want (usually not back in)
and when I first put it together (before fixing said wire above)
the van stalled a few times with the check engine light on for loss of power
to the fuel pump and asd relay but no problem today
more and more sounding like a body computer huh?
thanks
