Too bad it was 1/8 mile. But an improvement is seen at least. Lotsa lag to work out. Stratman should show some new good times too. I just beat him home lol.

1st run *** 2nd *** 3rd vs modded SVO *** 4th-advtmng
r/t 2.505 *** 1.630 *** .046 SVO-.547 *** 2.236
60' 1.859 *** 1.928 *** 1.975 1.713 *** 1.912
330 4.951 *** 5.070 *** 5.170 5.086 *** 5.071
mph 74.93 *** 75.10 *** 74.65 67.86 *** 74.80
1/8 7.468 *** 7.570 *** 7.680 7.802 *** 7.575
mph 95.48 *** 96.89 *** 96.75 90.03 *** 96.33

Only got to race 1 other car. Reaction times were slow to sit and spool up.How sad. !st time out w/Peliquin diff and a little more stall convertor.22psi. Who knows after some Stratman tune and maybe cam/lifter swap. Lifters were hammering on first run burnout.Added bout 1/2 quart and all was quiet again.

Wow,thats hard to read,oops

If I'm reading that correctly, and you went over 96mph in the 1/8th, I stand IMPRESSED!

I will be doing my 50 trim/ A413 setup very soon, and this kind of info from you and stratman gets me pumped! What transfer gears are you running? I was planning on sticking with the stock convertor and having it reworked to stall around 3000 for a little better streetability. Do you think that will be high enough, or will I need to go higher? Also, are you using an aftermarket convertor or a factory one?

the convertor looks to be half GM and half of a Mopar convertor together. You may wanna go higher than 3000 depending on how much slippage it has. A trans cooler is a must, esp on street usage. This convetor has been raised once already and could use a little more tweaking. Dont remember transfer gera ratio after snapping the tranfer shaft in 2 and repl w/a solid one.

1.22 transfer gear ratio btw

Nice times kev  I wish our 1/8 mile track gave 330ft mph.
convertor looks to be half GM Im running a built saturn converter with the 904 hub, thats what alot of the neon guys are using in turbo auto's.

Thnx Kev.This convertor is about 10 years old. I dunno what they used for it. Maybe half vega?
You know we have a few tracks stayin open almost all year round if your wantin 330 times. Cmon down, we need some more TD's that go to the track. That Daytona would surprise alot of people down here too.

Im going to get a csx later this week Im thinking of throwing the 2.4 in it.You know how much they weigh?

Sure do,Stratmans CSX weighed 2690 w/out his 105lb body in it,lol. It has bumper supports mssing/cut up and no back seat. So approx 2700lbs would be safe. Definately couple hundred lbs less than the big girl Daytonas,so you cant go wrong switching to the P body gang.

Got pics of ft of your car? Doing an intercooler swap into an 89.
