My 4th ignition coil has gone bad in 6 months. I can't figure out why they keep dying. I've put new cheapo's, chryslers, and msd's in and they run great for a few weeks. Then, they gradually start going bad. It gets to the point where the car wont rev over 4000 rpm in 3rd and 4th gear because its breaking up and misfiring so bad. Whats the problem here? Also.. I always get code 47 - low battery voltage. Even though I have replaced the battery with a high output unit twice. Could this be a cause of the problem?

Have you checked your battery voltage when its breaking up?

Changing your battery won't affect the low voltage code-you have a alt or reg issue. I am pretty sure your killing the coils as your overworking them with the low voltage-there working too hard.
