Has blue leather interior, TII IC and original engine, factory sunroof.

All parts for sale except head intake still available-buyer backed out.

All prices will be US unless noted, and please if you want a price-list location so I can give you the total as shipping is more if going to the states. :D

Please be patient with parts quotes and shipping. I am a one man shop so running off the to shippers etc takes time, and I still have to strip it

Sill, as in the metal portion? Another member wanted the shell so if he does't want it, I can cut it out.

I guess it's just not a blue shade of blue... taking another look, the hood really looks blue in this picture compared to all the others:

That's weird, I've never seen that color in one of these cars. Closest I've seen is some Omnis and Minivans.

Simon,
Are those crab wheels 15X6 or 15X6.5?
I've read that the Daytona crabs were 6.5 wide since they had 225/50's on them.
Polished lip?
Good shape? I mean not bent or anything, I expect a little wheel weight corrosion?

I'd be willing to wait for these if you need to be able to push the car around.
I needs me some wider wheels, and I hate aftermarket. Plus I'm too cheap.

Mackdog

just a reminder steeringwheel and door sill molding. thanks

turbovanmanČ
02-15-2006, 05:21 PM
The wheels look ok-some corrosion but will know more when I drive it and put it on my hoist. I wonder if there 6.5 but will know for sure on Sat, :thumb:

Ok, steering wheel is not bad, a little bit of wear at 5 oclock and a bit more at 11 oclock. The inside sill is ok, but the rear mount is cracked around the bolt hole. Oh, the wheel is vinyl also.

Mackdog
02-15-2006, 11:02 PM
can you send a pic of the steering wheel damage to kimmack@buggs.net The door sill sounds like it is the same as mine so thanks anyhow on that. But I am still interested in the wheel. Thanks again

How much for the old factory speakers that are in it. I just need some cheapys for my Lancer Shelby I just picked up. Shipping to 60178. By the way dont blame you for parting it. I already have a money pit on the way myself. Im going to convert a 93 voyager to T1. My wife doesnt know that though.

Thanks, Joseph

Drove it around, it runs not bad, turbo doesn't smoke and builds boost, clutch feels good.

Here are the pics of the fender, steering wheel and sill.

Duct tape a stick on top line of fender with 1/2' sticking out front and rear. I had two tc fenders shipped one at a time. First one was bent at windshield. No way to get original strength back in that area if it's bent. Second was dinged at front edge. The second one was packed with so much bubble wrap, it took 1/2 hour with box cutter to get it all off.

Thanks Turbovanman for all your help with the wheel and molding but the wheel is in worse shape than mine. I will check out my door sill today and see if yours is in better shape. Mackdog

Simon, have you found out anything on the crab wheels?
I think as long as they have 225/50 tires on them they should be 6.5 wide, 6 wide *should* have 205/60s.
I really want to ditch my lace wheels on the GTS.

turbovanmanČ
02-21-2006, 02:56 AM
Wow, I love lace wheels-trade? Not yet, haven't measured them and it has skinny tires that look like they need wider wheels.

Hmm...87 should have had the 'automatic' seat belts.....only the T-tops had normal seat belts and I beleive daytonas after 1989....weird....

There *should* be a casting mark on the inside of the wheel that will determine whether it's a 6" or 6.5". It's a good idea to check as they can tend to get mixed up over the years, which is why I have 1 6" among my stacks of 6.5".

What condition are the brake calipers in and how much? I'm looking for at least the rears, maybe all 4 for my 87 Z.

Wow...just looked at this thread for the first time...that Daytona makes the ones that I've saved look like dooky! A new carpet and that interior would look nice!

Too bad you have to part it, but it's understandable. Good luck.

To keep it on topic, I've bought parts from Simon before, and things went smoothly.
