Flip up head lights and rear disc's would make the parts you need for an 87. I edited the post title to reflect this.

You might actually try a NAPA auto parts store if you can't find something at the wrecking yard. They've always been able to find oddball brake parts for me.

Good luck!

To the best of my knowledege that part was only used on the 87 and 88 Shelby-Z Daytonas, so finding one in a boneyard is going to be a challenge.

My books show the spring as part# 4313722 and there are still a few available in the system according to partsvoice.

They are available aftermarket as well, look for a rear disk brake hardware kit, it includes both springs. RAYBESTOS Part # H15692A

Rockauto.com has them for $18.39 if you can't get them locally.

I have a set of 2 of the "wire retainers" from my old 88 Daytona Shelby. I can sell them for $20 plus shipping if you like. They shouldn't be too much to ship.

Let me know. mike_marinow@hotmail.com

Nice job with the part #'s Dave, next time I need something looked up:clap: ...

You did miss one 'orphan' car with the same funky rear 'E-brake pushes on the piston' style calipers. Check my sig line, you'll see it;)
