all 2nd gen hoods are the same right?

Nope, 87-89 are the same. 90-91 are the same. They changed where the hood latch mounts.

Yep, thats exactly right, or atleast thats what I've come to know. It took a while for me to find a replacement turbo bulge hood for my Daytona when I was redoing it.

In more general terms there are also turbo bulge, and flat hoods.

well the car had the newer 2nd gen bumber but had the old style interior. was it an 89? im not sure i just took the hood and didnt check the year
