Almost have the 2.4L together in the Z. Which cams should I use in a stock 2.4L N/A head, 2.4L or 2.0L ? and why?

I think they say the 2.0L cams give you more bottom end. I think Russ Jerome has all the info, they might even use one of each?

Well duration is supposed to aid in top end(while keeping overlap in check for turbo), and lift just helps flow all around.

The 2.0 cams are larger comparable to crane 10's or brian crower stg 2's.

I have some specs in the 2.4 swap guide in the KC(knowledge center)http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/vbarticles.php?do=article&articleid=47

LSA also comes into play. This is where I need to step my game up as it gets confusing to me.

Also as opposed to the settings that I wrote in the KC from Russ, others have found to like -2,-2 (2.0 cams)or further - on larger cams up to -7,-7(crane 16's). Every car is different and if there not degree'd to begin w/ then those settings are not exact. DCR recomends 16's for all but the wildest then 18's, ran the red sled SRT4 auto into the 9.9 or 9.8 1/4 w/ 16's then switched to 18's. DCR was sponsered by Crane so??? The Brian Crower stg3's are a good cam and prob what I'll try later, same thing as the orig Crower stg 2's turbo cams.

I'm going to start out with stockers (cuz I have them) but will eventually probably go big for phase 2...

For stockers, I see this in the KC:

Cam................Duration Lift Duration Lift
Stock SRT...........248 0.325 248 0.259
Stock 2.0/neon....243 0.344 243 0.315

but what are the N/A 2.4L cams numbers?

basically same as the srt4 cams(I think they are exactly the same just the measurments are a little off)
324/256 lift, 240/240duration

Good to know... Well, the N/A 2.4L cams are in there, I might as well just start with those then, especially if they are that close to the turbo cams. :thumb:
