I was wondering if the A/C Compressor on a 1991 Dodge Daytona 2.5 Turbo needs o-rings? Or is it only the two gaskets? Thanks.

I was looking in the FSM, no O-Rings. But it said it uses R-12?? Is this right? I thought the 91's and up used R-134a.

Just the gaskets i'm guessing. I've heard that R-12 is alot harder to get now, so they just convert it to R-134. It's not as cold but works just as good.

Good luck :]

No o-rings, just gaskets. R12 started to be fazed out around 92 ish so its hit or miss who got what, when.

Replace the reciever dryer and recharge with R134a if you can't find R12, it will be fine but in Florida, maybe not?
