My bacherlor party was during Springfling and it was a awesome day! The turbo Gm's were there, I got to see my buddies run their cars who typically don't, and some TD's. This year I hope to spend a bit more talking about TD's and seeing more run. If Nico brings his GT cruiser I want a ride!

My omni is now running really well. I just have to back the fuel off so it is not running pig rich at higher boost.

I will check my schedule to see if I will be able to work it around school. I would LOVE to come to this event, especially if the party is at Ken's place.

I have a different car a 87 csx the exhaust is going on wed. than the mbc, then the bov its a type h I don't know if its and rfl i bought it used. It has a few other goodies on it too I hope to atleast run what I did in my old shadow. i street raced a 99-04 mustang gt 5spd car and it was pretty even so I'm expecting 14's atleast

What color?

Stock... All the trim is painted black with light metal fleck (hahahaha) Looks wet...

And Gary/John... Pics are over rated. Want to see it, come to Palooza... Next up is BLACK carpet... Will offset the grey interior nicely.

Car hasn't been driven in 7 years. Started every couple months to keep her fresh. Against EVERYTHING I typically do, car is at a TRUSTED auto shop as of now. They are putting in a water pump, fixing ALL BRAKES, and going after the leaky fuel hard lines from the tank to the filter. Sadly, I don't have the time to fix these issues.

I am really hoping to "cruise"to palooza in her...

U Pull in Cincy has a GTS LeBaron with a rebuilt in 2004 413 in it, $99.

You would need a standard converter to with that too... Think those are $20...:thumb:

A few of the guys at work found out I'm going to Turbopalooza and asked what the event was all about. They liked the concept and said they like to run at different tracks. They may come down and make some passes too if no one cares. I told them it was an open test and tune day so everyone was welcome. The difference is that they are RWD muscle car guys. One runs high 11s with a 70s Trans Am with 455 Pontiac power and only running 3.08 gears in the stock rear disc brake 10 bolt rear end. (He has run high 10s with 3.90s that were in the car at one time.) I figure more the merrier and it might give some of the group some sweet side by side racing action with the old school cars to raise some eye brows. There seems to be a good interest in some of the guys near me so I may have some traveling partners following along. (I'm not planning my trip based on anyone else...you want to go along, meet up with me. You don't meet up, I'm not waiting and gonna let you put a damper on my fun!)

The track opens at Noon (EDT) and we will be there hanging out, racing, shooting the breeze, recording video, and taking pictures until around 5pm when the track closes. Around that time there will be a caravan led by those that know the way south from the track across the river and down to Ken Adler's house. This is the official party location of most OVC functions. Ken has a beautiful huge home located on an isolated cul-de-sac so we won't bother the neighbors much. There we will continue the hanging out making or ordering food, watching video, shooting the breeze, hopefully not but possibly making repairs to those needing it, shooting pool, playing pinball, and generally enjoying ourselves. This will continue until all hours of the night. People will leave when they feel like they must. Others stay and crash out wherever there is room and leave when they feel necessary the next morning. Please be aware: The following Sunday will be the long awaited NFL match up of the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. Plan accordingly!

The schedule is as simple as that. (That's why it hasn't been formally posted before. We wing it!)

I have to work till 1pm should be able to make it by 1:30-2pm. Do you think I'll be able to make many runs? Whats the admission to get in? to race? How picky are the tech inspections? <-- it is a turbo dodge you know, little rattle here drippy thing there. Ran two weekends ago at Tri-state with no problems. 15.8 @84 in a almost stock 90 Daytona Shelby Auto. Hope to do better on the 3rd.

There is no complaint with a CSX-T no matter what wheels it's wearing! You have to be there Andy! I'd rather not see a Tundra but if that is what you have to do, I guess I'll let it slide.

How pimp could the wheels be? Are they more pimp than the ones on my LeBaron?!?

See...I know how this is going to work too...it ain't my first time at Turbopalooza with a new project car:o

I remember several (many already) years ago after first buying Whitey...

I wasn't going to run the car as she was nowhere near drag capable...no telling what could break...but sure enough I caved in to the peer pressure and next thing i know Ken and I are under the car sawing off the stock exhaust to make it a side exit...lol. I think we got her in the low 15's w/a 2.5 intercooled automatic w/ MP computer Mitsu turbo...I hated that turbo...

Oh boy...guess what turbo i got now?

Crap....here we go again!

Well two things I have to be careful of when I'm there, drinking and racing. Well three if you combine the two. ;)

I can't have my car breaking or the transmission at least and I for sure can't get in trouble for drinking. However, if we end up drinking at Ken's the rest of the night, then I'm in the clear.

If I buy beer up there, what are the rules about transporting it from one place to the other? I have ZERO intentions on opening anything before I get to the house, but does it have to be in a bag and unreachable or something like that? I just want to make sure I don't do something I'm not supposed to do.

You are kidding right? Tri-State has never asked me ANYTHING.....they just slap a number on. I've never even got out of the car!

Edgewater tech is easy though....They *may* ask you to open the hood if they don't know you....but I doubt it. Make sure you have your tech card filled out BEFORE you get to the tech station. I don't think Edgewater cares if you do or not, but it really irritates me if you are holding up line while filling out your card.

Didn't even get a visual on her until I was right on top of her....

The 2007 Charger R/T now has it's first repair before it even has it's first oil change (It only had 2200 miles on it). I hope someone steals it from the autoshop and lights it on fire so I can just get a new one as it's only 2 1/2 months old.

I'll see what kind of rental we get to beat on at the track with! I told the insurance guy that he needs to consider that the automobile I drove killed a baby seal every time I started it so something Full Size with a V8 is only proper to give me....but I'll probably get stuck with a 3.5 magnum or something...but I will push for a town car.
