I ran my SRT-4 for the fiirst time today with the new mods (MP exhaust and Stage 2 without toys).

My best runs were a 14.26@99.8 and a 14.27 at 99.4mph. My 60 ft times on these runs were 2.36 and 2.38, not very good, but these were my best runs and I was on street tires. I forgot my tire gauge and inflator and didn't bother to fool with tire pressure. The air temp at the track when I made my runs was probably 86-87 degrees (for whatever reason it was not printing on the time slip).

I ran the car bone stock (save for a K&N drop in) and it ran 14.4 at 99.2mph. However, the air temp that day was 47 degrees (it was at the fun day at Cecil in November).

I'm thinking that with a lower air temp and if I can get a little better 60 ft time I'm going to see 101-102mph. Am I being reasonable in my expectations?

For reference.
My car:
Stage 2 no toys, 3"downpipe with cutout open, 225/50- 15 drag radials, 2 gallons 100 octane
13.35@104

Everyone says you don't need 100 octane, I say BS.
I use it for insurance, the computer is less likely to pull timing.
And low MPH usually = boost leak.
Pressureize your system and tighten your clamps.

I'd already tightened all the ic hoses and zip tied alot of the vac lines before going to the track. I was wondering if maybe timing was being pulled due to the heat.

My best run on street tries w/o high-octane mode on is 13.8 @ 102.

I might borrow a set of drag radials for the next trip to the track. Or invest in slicks. Launching this thing on street tires is a bit of a challenge, I made 8 passes and really only got two good runs in. Leave with a little too much rpm = axle hop. Again, I didn't play with tire pressure, that would've helped some.
