Title says it. I need a good used 2.5 T1 complete common block or complete engine. I pulled the head off of my car yesterday and found that a piece of the head broke off into cyl #2 and damaged the block. I'm going to be doing my T3 swap this winter so I didn't want to sink any money into building a 8V engine for just a few more months use. I would like to find one close to Indiana.

There's a couple yards here local with them. Define "complete"...

Block that I can slap my head on and go. Or complete engine then I will just swap my head onto. What yards are they?

Hmmm... I don't know of any that are in "good, running condition." I know that Jack and Sons(Greenfield) had one about a month ago that ran and that Butch's(Indy) had one too. So did WestSide Auto(Indy). I think that you would be better off getting one out of a donor car. I "think" that there was somebody that had a regular T1 up for bids here over the weekend, but I'll be damned if I remember who it was or where...

Ok. Well I will check Butch's and West Side tomorrow.

I can handle the junkyard dogs...I used to go there about once a week back in high school. They always knew what cars I was after(any dodge w/ a turbo) and used to not crush them until I came and looked at them.
