I was with my friend in a 1996 T/A LT1 with Ram Air when a ~2006 GTP on the highway raced him from about 45 to 90 MPH... the look on his face was priceless when the GTP was about 5 car lengths ahead of him :lol:

When I was in college, there was a girl with a boyfriend who had a GTP in the 11s. She said that it was the 2nd fastest GTP that was not on the gas. It was a super nice car and in a mag or two. It was great to sit in an elementary ed class and talk with a girl that know what is going on with cars. I miss her.:love:

I was at Cecil last year, I think I remember a quick GTP. They were putting in full runs most the time though.

I love this car, its so bad ---. I watched it get 1.3 60's on a frozen (literally) track. This car was f'ing up, the tube frame INTENSE-RACING Drag cars (FWD, AND RWD 25.2 cars)
On tons stock parts, STOCK diff, 4sp with OD auto-4t65hd trans (ZZP internal built), stock GM control arms, GM engine cradle, spindles, GM brakes, stock firewall, motor placement, wheel wells, fenders.. A small 28x10.5x15 ETdrag.
Stock 3800 shortblock.
Last fall went 9.01 @150 in that setup.

A few months ago, we took the twin turbo GT down for some modifications. Some of these include the MPD flared front end. We are installing the front bumper cover but decided to weld in custom sheet metal flares on the fenders rather than using the fiberglass flares included. Some other changes include adding a dash, new turbo headers, water/air intercooler system, and STR4 cam.

Although we have been very busy at the shop and haven't had much time to work on the drag car, we did manage to work on it a bit the last couple days. Although it is not nearly finished, we plan to have it out for people to check out this weekend during the Metro Cruise.

shooting for mid 8's . My gp isn't really worth alot, this is making me want to cut it up. Not gona happen, but this car is gona f'ing rock.
