Doug at TopSpeed out of Atlanta took my car in to re tune the AEM. Promising results after only one run. And it was only one run due to a nice road bump haha. He blew the boost solenoid he put on my car last time I was there. He took off my AEM solenoid because he thought that it was bad, car wasn't making boost. Well, the actual reason it wasn't making boost was the pressure pipe to the intercooler popped out of the silicon coupler. I didnt find that till later, when I got home. So when I went back, I didnt bring the AEM solenoid with me thinking I didn't need it. Wrong hahaha. So now I have to mail it to Atlanta so he can finish my tune. Here is what we had the first pull: 379whp 354 tq. Well on my way to my goal of 420 pump. I didnt catch what boost he put it at, ill get that later.

I was at the SRT dyno day for "spanking time" motorsports last month here in SoCal. I think there were more than 20 SRT's making pulls. Your run would have been strong enough for 2nd or 3rd in that group...:thumb: Top pull was 408HP . there was also an ols school GLHS that laid down 364HP;)

Nicely done:eyebrows:

The thing is, there is about 40 more whp to be made on the pump gas tune here. And then, well put the sweet smelling C16 in and try for 480whp. Stock bottom/head.

looked like your valves were floating there above 6k.
almost free power! :P

Naw, just pushing the RPM limits, like I said, this was the first run after a quick tune, still has small bugs to work out.

from what Ive read from DCR you start floating before 6000 on even stock motors and it just gets worse as the rpms go up.

with that fix I wouldnt even call 6000 or 7000 a "limit" cause that thing should be rapping out the rpms.

We have had numerous SRTs in the 7500 rpm range or more, and they haven't had a problem at all.

At close to 6500 rpms, my turbo starts to loose efficiency. Its at the limit of its potential that high. Its only beneficial to set the limit higher on bigg turbos with a higher rpm power curve.

DCR is all about $$$, they do have the know how to make you go fast and lots of hp. They sell an windage tray, thats easily made and charge an arm and leg for, then they talk bad about the crankscraper.com one which is far better. They have the oil setup thats basically a 5.0L mustang filter and 2 stock gaskets, this all cost you $$$. I just used the stock $2 td oil restrictor(made the hole smaller) and works fine, dcr says its not as good:blah:, compared to the money they make on the $60 one, no the $2 one is not as good:lol: . Same w/ the oil pump talk, detonation kills them, look at Rob has a 95 2.4 Stratus stock pump that lives over 500hp and never had a prob. $350 head studs, come on thats nuts, the $100 arp's work OK, yes the nuts/washers are small, so if you want buy the studs for $100 then for $60 you can get the larger nuts/washers from DCR and your still better off.

Whhoa, where did ^this^ come from hahaha. Rant much? But I agree with DCR being money mongers.
