Here's a couple pics of my other baby, an 84 MC SS with a 350 swap. Car runs great and has suprised more than a few people at the track :)

There used to be a guy in Murfreesboro, TN that had one with a 400 under the hood. He used to surprise a lot of people.

I love those cars and miss my '85 dearly. If i still had it, i would do a 3.8 Buick turbo swap.... SO much room for a cooler in those noses lol

Beautiful spotless Monte! :thumb:

I miss the days when my GM g-body ran... Mine's a '78 grand prix, beat up to all hell but it had a cadillac 500CI v8 in it! It was frightening and fun until the engine started knocking and chewed up a crank journal.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The car runs 8.9 @ 84 mph in the 1/8, not blazingly fast, but quite a bit quicker than my buddy's stock 9.9 @ 66 mph. It's good for putting those Mustang guys in their place :). J/K, I actually like the fox boddies a lot ;).

This car has been with me for many years and is the only thing I took with me after a bitter divorce. When I found my 86 'tona, I borrowed against my 401k to buy it rather than part with this car.

I'm in the process of building a 383 stroker for it now, but it's a slow process as I'm learning as I go.

I almost bought a GP until I found this Monte (the blue sold me). Those are cool cars and I like the interiors MUCH better than Chevy's.

Yep, I LOVE my '87 GN... :D It has a much tighter place in my heart than my Daytona ever will...

Had an '86 SS with the 350 crate motor and I loved it ALOT... but then I finally got a GN.... WOW... not even comparable... Had the GM G-body lines and interior and the Camaro speed! STOCK!!! I love this car... :amen:

I only wish I could afford a GN!!!! That is pretty much the only car I would sell my Monte for. The car in this pic ran 7.0 at 118 mph in the 1/8 with minimal mods!!!!

Not to turn this into a GN thread, but, my bro's dad had an '87 GN (not the GNX), as well as an '85 Regal T-Type. Both are drool inducing cars, and I hope to own one some day. I recently looked, and took a few pics of an '82 GN (1 of 215 or 250) made. It only had the N/A 6 in it, but the rarity makes it cool...

Those 82's are very cool. Aren't those the two tone silver and black?

Yep... It was the pace car that year... Don't get me started on GN's or I will babble about them and what they are, what they can do, how fast you can make them, blah, blah, blah.....:blah:  :thumb:

Theres one of those 82's off of 200 W on I think 300 or 400 south Nate. I'm sure you've seen it. I don't remember if its there or not, but it was right down the street from that church. This is near to the road that takes you right into the town of Carroltown or is it Finley? talking Han---- county there Nate.
