Ive just installed a auto starter into my car today and i would love to use the lock/unlock functions.
the remotestarter can send negative ( - ) ground for .5 second bursts to unlock or lock the doors on 2 separate wires.
can anyone help me out with a wiring diagram and maybe advise on how to use the negative pulse to control the door locks?

No we don't, you're sh!t outta luck. Sorry.
Just kidding! I did this within the last year using a Bulldog Security system that had lock/unlock features. Do you know how to read a Chrysler Wiring diagram? And do you know what a relay is?
If so, I have a modified power door lock wiring diagram (based on the 86 model year) that makes it VERY easy to install the wiring for the remote option. Let me know.

POWER LOCK ORANGE
POWER UNLOCK PINK
you have to cut each wire and pass though the relays on ping 30 and 87
