Hi everyone, my name's Robert. I just signed up on the forums, but I've been using turbododge.com and dodgeforums.com a little bit... I have a 1991 Dodge Daytona Shelby with a 2.5 TI that I am currently in the progress of freshening up and modifing. I've had it for a couple months, when I bought it several area's on the car were rough so I'm just going back and fixing those when I can. I love mopars and I love how easy it is to work on 2.2/2.5 turbos and I'm glad there is still a pretty big community for them!

Welcome to the site, that looks like a nice car. I always liked the 91's, my wife drove one for a few years, and I worked on a red one just like that a couple years ago. I noticed the charger in the background also 71 or 72? I had a white 74 Charger for a while.

The white car is a 1972 Charger SE, a project for another day (and another wallet haha). Thanks for all the positive comments on my car but I'm sure it doesn't put anyone to shame, I have my share of dents and such. Wait until you see the otherside of it haha.... We'll here are some more pics, I need a better engine pic since I've cleaned it up and painted the valve cover black. Also tell me what you think of the interior, I put in some leather seats from an 88 Shelby Z I like them but I haven't decided if they match yet, thinking of trying to dye them black.

The gray seats look good in it from what I can tell. What did they replace?

IF by chance you replaced black leather, I sure could use the driver's seat! haha

http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa257/ShelbyDaytona91/Jordanscardomain011.jpg There is a picture of my old black seats. I love the leather ones though, the 84-89 seats are so much more supportive than the 90-93 garbage. I used to have to grab on to my shift for dear life whenever I took a hard corner!

but, the 90+ seats are really comfortable!!! I've had both.. and the 92 enthusiast seat is supportive to boot

What do the 92 enthusiast seats look like, can I have a pic? And I agree the 91 seats I had were comfy, except when I was corners or it was hot out because my AC doesn't work.

Ken, you are sooo right. The 90 seats were a lot more comfortable than the enthusiasts seats in the 89. If they would swap out, I would trade my power seats in a quick minute....
