Does anyone have any figures for open and closed spring pressures on our TIII heads? Stock figures are perfect, as I don't have the Ti retainers.
-Thanks!!!

I was told 140 @ 1.7" and 275 @ 1.350" but haven't done my own research yet. These numbers are from Turbojerry so I would say there bang on.

Not sure where you guys are going with this, but wouldn't a set of aftermarket (softer) TIII valve springs cost more than a set of Ti retainers?

Nope, but so far, I can't find any. They would have to be specially made so in that case, yes, :(

Ah OK. Cuz I'm about to buy another set of Ti retainers. Maybe I should hold off heheh.

They wanted to spin the TIII's to 10,000 rpms right:D ? Why else would they give em 170lbs on the seat:confused: ?

Interesting counter point, seat pressure on a Masi TC 16V exhaust valve... 40lbs:o Did they WANT them to float at 4800 RPMS or what??

Honda's are very low as are the SRT4's. Weird how the TIII have such stiff springs yet they redline at what, 7000 rpm?

I was looking for the pressures to help Chad & myself out during the hunt for the material of the roller repair we're working on. We defaulted on high open pressures, neighborhood of 275-300 pounds on the roller.

Dude, wake up and smell the C16, he's figuring out how to replace the TIII rocker arm roller pins.

With the right port work and calibration? 7300 rpm... and they pull hard right up until they shut off. :eyebrows:

Lotus engineered that crap to spin like a top. Then all Dodge could scrounge up was a common block. :(
