I bought it from a dealer auction. Its a local car, from Roseville, and a previous owner was an SDAC member.

The good:

The paint is good.
All panels except the rear quarters are straight and rust free.
It runs - I think the timing is off though. It will not stay running w/o your foot into it and backfires pretty bad.
edit:got word motor is toasted - through prev. owner
Turbo spools great as heard through the talon bov.
Front mount intercooler
A/C still hooked up - don't know if its cold. Lines and core look good.
Interior ok - carpeting is newer black and while the seats are worn, they arent completely wasted.
Some sort of kenwood EQ in the pull down drawer.
Pioneer speakers in the doors, Kenwoods in the back.
Wired for a system.
Steering wheel there
Dash plaque there
Grill intact
Ground fx intact except for crack on LF.
Grill pristine
Rear emblem there and in great condition
Wheels good, look straight, no caps.
H4 lowbeam conversion, superwhite bulbs
Overhead console appears to be correct
newer tires
trans cooler

The bad:
Hit in the right rear, can be pulled out (which I can have done)
New hatch - easy to find and I can have painted.
new bumper - already found one if you want that.
Needs at least the cam timing adjusted.

I'm selling for less than what I could get from some parts:

$1200

Don't have unlimited time or storage, it will be parted out and scrapped soon if not bought.

Guys, PLEASE save this car. That is an easy fix with a LeBaron or Lancer hatch and a taillight. At most a bumper as well, come on! Don't let another one fall into the graveyard.

Too bad I don't live closer and have money... that car would be in my driveway and I'd be driving it every day.

I'm in line for parts from it, wish I could buy the whole car, but it's just not feasible to drive a truck up there and tow it back. 12+hr drive, truck that does no better then 16mpg...

Anybody coming down from MI want to deliver? :)

How's the underside look? Clear title or salvage title?

I only looked at the e-brake area and was pleasantly surprised. There was a little rust, but no huge cancer. When I go out there to get it to take it back to my place to be disassembled, I could take better pics, but I would need a near immediate commitment.

This should make this thread 56k death...

I think if nobody wants it whole, I'm just going to put a shortblock in it and make a quick winterbeater...

Found out the hatch wont latch because of the rear hit. I'm just going to part it out unless someone says something real soon.

I have been real busy with work and getting a new job, sorry to those who've wanted parts and I haven't gotten back to.

Thats way too rust free for an H let alone a numbered car. I wish my finances could be as dedicated as a part of my heart is to these cars. but then my wife would leave me and my son would probably disown me when he got old enough to know better.. Yeah I better not make an offer...

Car is officially being parted - see f/s section.

Yeah, except the only thing left on the car bolted in is the hatch, dash, and engine. Going to finish her off in the next couple weekends and get some folks some resto parts.

Its already half cut up. It was too gone for a DD - even for me, much less someones wife. Those SL fx can hide alot of cancer even I couldn't see until we removed the skirts.
