View Full Version : Words alone cannot express my appreciation to this community....

I cannot believe the outpouring of sympathy and prayers that I have received from this small community. I found out very quickly that while many of you might consider yourselves TU customers, in reality, you are also very good personal friends of mine. Besides the posts on T-M, I have received many cards, emails and calls offering support during this traumatic time in my life. I especially appreciated those of you who had called that first week. You not only shared stories with me about Mai, but, some of you broke down and shared tears with me over the phone as well. I was deeply touched by how much each of you cared. When I received the goody bag and signed T-Shirts from SDAC they were just what I needed to lift my spirits. THANKS BARRY! I really appreciated EVERYONE who took the time to write a little note. I owe a special thanks to Alan Jones for bringing our new products to SDAC. Not only did Alan find space in his luggage for our new header and decals, but, he also accepted donations for Mai's funeral. This helped ease some of the unexpected financial stress which I have been trying to deal with lately and I can't say THANK YOU enough for everyone's overwhelming generosity. Special thanks also goes out to Denny for getting everyone together at the Carlisle Camp grounds and Butch for helping out a Bro.

Some of you have been concerned about my silence on the boards this last month. This is just the way I have chosen to cope with my loss and I appreciate those of you who were understanding about orders and the lack of communication during that time. Lately, I have been re-focusing on TU which is helping me to cope with the personal side of my life. If you have not received a response or an order please don't hesitate to email or call us. TU and the people in this community are what's going to help me make it through this hard time so I can complete the healing process. I am grateful to have the support of so many people here and am proud to be serving this community now and well into the future.

With much Gratitude,

Chris Wright

We all NEED YOU! Hell...I NEED YOU! You cemented your place in this community...you cemented yourself in my mind with the very first conversation I ever had with you. It's obvious this is a better place to be with your input and devotion. You deserve to be respected and understood...and showing respect for you is to understand your hardship and welcome you back. Only you decide when it's time to put the axe to the grindstone once again and further make your mark with this community and with the products you produce for these cars. I just want you to know I'm glad you are still with us...and if nothing else I APPRECIATE YOU!:thumb:

Chris it's great to see you back on the board! And I was really glad to see you at Carlisle. With all the support you give us, there is no way we would leave you without support in this rough time.

Ahhh Chris... what can we say. Other than welcoming you back and offering our condolences, I think it has all been said. Some of us have dealt with a personal loss of a serious magnitude, but an immediate family member is always the toughest. If for ANY reason you feel that you need to talk to any one of us, whether by PM, email, or phone, don't hesitate to do so. Although I may not have personally ever met you, I do understand the situation and the the mixed feelings this brings upon you that NOBODY can understand fully without being in the same position. :(

My experience has been that while WE, as friends, customers, and just acquantances, need to be there for you, we should not dwell on this as the end. Always remember the positive times you've had with them prior, the happiness, and keep on moving forward. This, my friend, will be what carries you on. Hold that torch and always look to the prize. It is not what you get at the end of the road, but how we got there... :amen:

Good luck and my prayers will be with you. :thumb:

Chris you're a strong, determined individual. If you can survive being a TD vendor then I know you can make it through anything. Good to see you back & looking forward to doing more business with you.

Not sure if I could have done what Chris did and showed up at SDAC and carlisle if that happened to me. Shows his dedication.
