ok, so im 16 and a half.. and i have my permit. we were cruising the hardcore streets of bethel vermont, a town populated by roughly 10,000-15,000 people, in my friend kyles moms beastly escort wagon.. yeah, it was a stick.. his truck broke down, so a friend drove the speed demon down to pick us up, and i was driving. some ------- was about 5 feet away from the rear bumper with his high beams on so naturally i felt obligate to move to the middle of the road and slow my velocity down to about 10 mph westbound. after about 2 minutes of that i looked back and saw vic headlights and the taillight reflecting off his spotlight. so i sped up hoping to get lucky.. but we got lit up. so were sitting there on the side of the road, watching groups of friends drive by that are laughing because they all know im licenseless.. the cop comes up and i tell him i gotta permit, and he runs my number and tells me the computer system says that i have a license. so he lets me off with a written warning for having the cars temp plate covering up the third brake light, and sends us on our way. i could have gotten in soooo much crap, but i basicly got out trouble free.
