how would i got abouts identifying my pistons??
i had my previous machine shop order stock replacement 2.2 mahles, and now that im doing a second rebiuld how would i go abouts making sure that they are indeed 2.2 mahles??
I'll need to know ASAP!!

if u look on the inside it will say mahle on the skirt

you'll see the mahle in the skirts. some of them even have it stamped into the stop of the piston

ill just give a call to the machine shop monday morning to see if they can find mahle written anywhere

The Mahle logo is olso on the piston tops...

Why are you replacing them, they should be just fine. And with all the money you have spent, you should be buying forged anyhow.

machine shop looked them over and thankfully they are mahles:thumb: no need to change them
