Anyone know if you can pull codes on a 1992 1.5L Tercel like we do with our cars? New girlfriend and new car to work on. Possibility of an oxygen sensor throwing the code. Any help would be great. (Maybe an investment in a manual is needed)

I have no idea how to get the codes out of an older import other than with a scan tool. Moved this thread to the "other vehicles" section.

Jump out T and E1 on the diag and count the flashes like our cars.

i know for a civic you have to pull up the carpet on the pass side not sure about a turdcell

yea on hondas/acuras if its OBD0 you count the flashes on the ECU under the passenger side carpet. its its 0BD1 or 2 you count check engine light flashes.

In the trecell the DLC should be somewhere under the hood, I think near the underhood fuse block. My brother has an '88 Toyota pickup, I believe that the code retrieval would be simmilar.
