Here's a pic of my friends 83 Scamp. If you saw what a beast it was when he towed it home, you would be inspired, but I didn't get any pics.

Little Tree air fresheners FTW!

I washed my tranny off first with diesel fuel to get the grime off, then sprayed it down with simple green, rinse that off and let it dry. I primed it then painted it.

Little Tree air fresheners FTW!

A Norwegian buddy told me they make VWs go faster. I always thought the Feu-Orange best in British cars. Haven't figured what works best in FWD mopars yet, mebbe the little tree has some effect in the L body derived ones, 'coz of the VW connection....

Jay

Did you cut a carb'd direct connection valve cover and reweld it in place of a Chrysler Turbo valve cover?

jaysshelby
07-09-2007, 08:45 PM
Billy,
no I didnt cut up a DC valve cover, lets just say the one I have is a "proto type"
Anyway here is a pic I took after I pushed it outside on Thrusday.

This is what it looked like when I bought it. It already had a turbo 1/A-520 conversion.

I was going to make a Rampage GLHS out of it until I lost interest and traded it for a CSX-T.

This is my daily driver. It is a 1984 Rampage with a 1989 2.2 rebuilt with forged pistons, mildly ported head and manifolds, t3/t4 turbo, large front mount intercooler, converted to smec, 555/520 hybrid trans, converted trans to stock type rod shifter. For the interior I added a factory CD player, 12 button navigator, pistol grip shifter, and A pillar gauges. Next plans are to make a custom fiberglass bed cover, change interior color to gray and add Corvette bucket seats.

What kind of wraparound spoiler is that in the back of the yellow Rampage? Trans Am or Daytona?

Pictures of the 84 I just picked up that had all the work on it already done. shaved drill rails, markers and lights. Was originally a Red quad headlight car. Interior was customized. its different put it that way and its Rare, My rampage has a New York Auto Show tag on the rad support next the the Vin plate. Can you say was the one on display. I have find more info and pics of it from then online someplace
