Okay, my machine shop had a question I could not answer. What do you use to seal the girdle to the block on a 2.4? Just anareobic sealer? Anything special?

yes anareobic sealer(I used Mopar), and use it for the oil pump to block also. Some use it on the rear main also, the FSM dosent seem to say anything so I did not and no leaks so far.

Did you pull the BS's and block the oil hole?

An anerobic sealer cures in the absence of air. You can use the pink stuff but Mopar designed its own sealer specifically for bedplates only. Its green, pn. 4773257. Heath if you want some I can probably next day ground it to you. It is a little more though. I have the pink stuff too. LMK
