Hey everyone. I'm a former Turbo Mopar owner that has been out of the game for the last ~3+ years. I've always liked the J-body's and came across this one in the FS section. It's an extremely rust-free 1990 GTC VNT that I picked up from Paul (blk86trbo). Paul is a really great guy to deal with, he's the type of person that makes a community like this enjoyable.

Here's some more shots from Paul's for-sale thread. It's got a T1 setup right now, and it runs excellent.

Yeah the front end must be from a 93-95 car, I was thinking of swapping mine a while ago but I like the looks of the older lights.

My reason was because I thought the newer front end would be lighter, but that doesn't really matter since I realize it's much more effective to take dead weight off the back!

It was great to meet you Marc, thanks for the kind words.

When I hauled this VNT back from Florida, I didn't really have a specific need for it. It was too clean to drive year round, and I have other "summer" cars to drive when the weather is nice. Unfortunately (as in the case with this GTC), what ends up happening is that they don't get driven as often as they should. My hope was that someone up in the rust-belt would really appreciate how clean this example was, and that I could find it a good home.

I'm so glad that you bought this car...it deserves the care and respect that I know you will give it.

Good luck, and I look forward to your continued progress as you finish 'er up!

Very clean indeed! Congrads two both for the sell and buy.

What does the future hold in store for the new ride?

Currently just getting some things sorted out. I've got the brakes apart right now and will be putting in some new components for the 11" setup that's on there. I also just emailed Johnny at Polybushings on the availabillity of 1.25" sway bar bushings(didn't see them on any vendors sights?).

I've also got this ready to go in whenever I get the time...

Keeping the mitsu for a little while, no reason to mess with the motor right now, it runs way to nice.

Very nice!!! That car has been a real tease. Glad you got it off the market, haha.

If you don't know turboshelbys (Stephan) you should, hes only a lil north of you. I'm rebuilding a 92 GTC about 1.5 hours SW of you.

No I don't know Stephan, but looking at his list of rides I think I'll be buddying up with him as soon as possible.

Thanks, it's been a fun toy for the short time I've owned it. Here's another shot just after I put the lift and tires on. Rustys springs / Old Man Emu dampers, 2.5" lift. 245/75/16 Dunlop RVXT's

The GTC has gotten all of the window tim, mirror housings, wiper cowl painted black. Fresh battery, fuel pump, fuel hoses and t-clamps, filter and sock. Front calipers, flex lines, pads, rotors and all new synthetic fluid to all 4 corners. Polybushings sway bar bushings. Kenwood head unit and a $4 steering wheel cover (safety feature). I'm scraping some funds together to rebuild the entire suspension, but we'll see how that goes... money:rolleyes:

Glad to see someone picked that car up. It looked really clean. Paul is a great guy, except for the smell. j/k Paul. ;)
