My buddy got a GP sight unseen. We got it and it wouldn't start. Put new plugs in and got it to fire. White smoke poured out the exhaust. Sounds like a headgasket right? Thing is - it fouled the plugs and died. No refire. I've never had a bad headgasket completely kill an engine before. Thought it could be bad gas/water in the gas. There is no sign of water in the oil or oil in the antifreeze. Thoughts!?

Dollars to donuts the intake is leaking. Extremely common. If the intake is plastic, rare cases they have cracked.
