Does anyone know if the fuel pump module and fuel sender are the same from an 86 daytona to an 88. both are turbo cars.

No Mike, quite the opposite. The 88 is the donor and the 86 is the recipient. Hopefully the pump lives again. The 88's tank was full of gas though which made for fun times.

Haha, I had to do that on my charger last year... had a headache still the next day from all the fumes... Glad nothing sparked off the big puddle!

And really heavy too I bet. What does a full tank (12 gal?) weigh?

On the chargers I can do it without removing the tank straps. Don't know about the daytona's though. I jack that side of the car up as high as possible to keep the gas in the other half of the tank, to minimize spillage.
