ok the company that i chose as my first choice dosent have data logging
i was gonna use a boost wide band and a egt
if i get say a aem or a

???? only those 3 sensors correct???
thought i had it all picked out and im back to square one

that is my other choice but what i want to know is what is this set up to log ???
only the sensors that i will have hooked up ? egt boost and wideband

its also very usefull to log compared to rpm to know where to adjust

did you go and look? they have it all spelled out on the site real simple.
but in a nutshell, they do at the very least (lower priced models like the 2j1) two 0-5v sources (tps, map, intake temp etc), afr, rpm.
the ones like what i have (2A0) log three 0-5v sources, three EGT probes, RPM, and afr. I built the 2A0 kit years ago for less than 200$ including the sensor from 1stvwparts.com. its a little more pricey now cause of exchange rate and the demand for the sensors but not bad. I saved money using a palm pda for the display.
