The rubber/plastic seal where the shafts input into the transaxle: I bent the plastic part when I pulled the axle out but the rubber part looks fine. Is this piece still usable?

I have heard that it is a good idea to replace it if you tweak it at all. Much easier to spend a few bucks, than to pull all of that out again imho.

I would replace it the timken part number is 3459s. I just did the ones in my car twice. I think they cost about $7 a piece at autozone and the stock them under "differential seal".

Don't forget to get oil/trans fluid to refill the tranny. I know on a manual you lose most of the oil.
