I'm kinda at a loss as what to do here with the 86 SC I just picked up. I just searched some threads and it seems there is a big debate on what heads to use although I heard something about the heavier cars prefer the swirl and the lighter ones the g head. I can get complete running 85 T1 or a free short block thats a known good one, but I have to get my head rebuilt in order to put it together. Either way I'm going to need to buy a used turbo and I'm not wanting to spend a whole lot just to put my car back on the road. I'm just curious running a GLHS stage 2 LM with the fuel pressure bumped up above stock, but stock T2 injectors if I'm going to be able to make around 200 plus hp with either or. The 85 will remain stock with an 88 roller cam or the 2.5 will get the matching 89 roller. I will also be running a stock daytona IC. Which way should I go???
