there should be eyes on the end of the wires, and those eyes go on two posts on the back of the gauge. That is, if those are the same as my autometer gauge.

Read the instructions. Red = power, yellow = 12v Light source, black = ground. I think that's what it was. The instructions go over what color wires go where. Unless you didn't get it new.

On my autolite gauge they connect to the like color on the longer cable and then to the back of the gauge in the appropriately marked spot.

red and yellow wires go to the two threaded posts on the back of the gauge.

My autometer cobalt EGT had no threaded posts on the back of the gauge. The thermocouple had a wiring harness that plugged into the back of the gauge...

I see two threaded posts with nuts on them....

those are to mount the gauge. Im guessing by looking at the pictures that you have to push the ends of the TC wire into that black plastic plug. It looks like it already has the ends already on the wire.

^Thats all I could find as well.

Looks like you will have to call AutoMeter unless somebody has one sitting infront of them to look at the plug...

yeah i got that to.. but the thing that is confusing the duce out of me is why are there 3 wiers coming out of the probe wier (harness) and why wouldent they tell you where the red and yellow wiers go off the probe?

not really a detailed install guide :(

Well that PDF shows you were the 3 wires from the plug should go...

It just looks like somebody removed the EGT probe wires from the plug to ease install... Yet they didn't leave you a hint of where to put them back in the plug.

All you really need is to find somebody with one on the shelf, peak at the plug then you should know.
