View Full Version : Candidate for cam repair?

So I oiled down my cams the other day so they don't rust and I noticed some pitting on every one of the exhaust lobes. Take a look at the pics. Do you think it should be repaired or should I just run it? Both cams are lonewolf grinds.

And yes, the rollers on the rocker arms show the same patterns of wear.:(

They cam wasn't hardened properly, you need to have it redone and new rocker arm(s). I got my good cams and rocker arms cryotreated and the cam DFL'd so that doesn't happen.

Ray, thats Justins old car correct? If so I dont think he opted for Cryo which would have made the cam more durable.
