Mini window regulators broke, question

Both front manual regulators broke within a couple days. Took them apart the tape isn't damaged, it's the gear that connects to the handle that's damaged.

Can anyone tell me if 1st and 2nd gen Minis used the same regulator?

Based on the fact there there close to the same van, I would guess at 99% yes, :nod:

They are not the same between 1st and 2nd gen vans. 91-95 vans use the same regulators though.
