My dad had a aftermarket cam for the 225 super slant six in the 68 valiant before we dropped a 340 in it :D

I'm seriously considering keeping the 225 under the hood of my 1985 Ram now instead of swapping in the 440.

Hmm.. cool... there's a 1966 Dodge Town Wagon with a slant 6 in it up the road from me that has been for sale for 3 years now. Guy wanted $1500 for it, and it came with a complete set of spare body parts for the restoration, when I talked to him a year and half, maybe 2 years ago about it.

Wouldn't that make an intersting turbo Dodge? :eyebrows:

Yeah they got to be the strangest sounding 10 second cars on the planet. I couldn't believe how fast they were running that day at tri-state mopar day.

I found this one to be funny. The guy builds a turbo slant and sticks on a small mitsu turbo off of a TD. A 225 is around a 3.7L and you're going to use a small turbo off a 2.2? Plus just like our TD heads, the /6 head flows like crap so to get anything decent out of it unless you put in some serious head work you will need some high boost. In additon, the fuel distribution on the stock /6 manifolds is crap. A stand alone efi controller with port injection would make a world of difference over a carb-turbo setup. But it does kinda make me regret selling my old 2dr /6 dart a few years ago.
