Went to check my ignition timing out and it was at 0 degrees. I reckon maybe that would explain the lack luster performance and higher than normal EGTs?

I'd think the car wouldn't start with the ignition timing set to 0 degrees.
I'd also think adjusting timing down to 0 degrees while running would stall the car.
Thats what happens on my shadow when I'm not paying attention.

That would explain it. I bet it ran like poop.
It will run at 0, just not very well.

Crank that sucker up to 14! I'm pretty sure my ignition timing in the van was that low...and it just felt like crap. I got it set and it was like a whole new animal.

I set it at 12 and it made a big improvement. Pulls pretty hard with boost set at 10psi.
