I'm trying to install a fuel pressure gauge, but I'm having trouble finding a tee housing for the threads. The gauge has 3/16" threads on it. I found an iron tee housing for it but I'm not sure if the steel threads from the gauge and the brass nipple threads will match too well to an iron housing.

What are the other ways people install fuel pressure gauges?? I'm also even having trouble finding 3/16" nipples...

By 3/16" do you mean 1/8" NPT?

I thought you lived by summit racing? They will have everything you need fitting-wise.

It's a 3/16" NPT fitting. I'll have to run up to Summit and hopefully find a tee housing for it.

There isnt a 3/16" NPT size. Its either 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", etc etc.

What brand and size gauge? Autometer uses 1/8" NPT... most other companies copy Autometer ;)

I live close to the summit racing in reno, and they are alright with fittings but take along time and still didnt get me all the stuff I needed. Because you can't just go to the bins and start trying out fittings, They need to order the pieces and bring them up to the front so you you can try them out. And if they dont get the right ones it will take a while. And they ended up sending my to a hose and fitting shop near by and I was there for 5 minutes and got all the stuff I needed. The fittings I got I ended up taking back to summit and using all new stuff from the hose shop.
