Hi guy's,
I was hoping some one out there could help me,and perhaps others,to diagnose problems with comunications between a laptop and flashable smec...
I am obviously not very good with electronics or computing,and I am sure there are others like me attempting to play with this stuff also.
I have a flash module built by Jason,instaled myself,and an interface kit that I built,that I believe is a Chad Clendening kit (I didn't purchase this from him,but from another member here).
My problem is that my interface isn't working....I have triple checked my build as for correct parts instal and good solder joints,but it won't echo back when using 'Hyperterminal' to test it.I have tested my serial cable,and it is fine,using the same method.
I am hoping someone has 'steps' to offer when testing and diagnosing things like this,as all I can think of doing is ordering all new components and replacing them in the board until it works lol!
