i'm a little confused after looking at the engine wiring diagram, and my haynes manual doesn't really help.
the tach signal (PIN 43) is an output on the SBEC-II and goes to the tach on the instrument cluster - OK
then there's the speed distance sensor on the tranny, which seems to go to PIN 47 and right before the SBEC-II the wire is spliced and it's connected to the instrument cluster.
am i right, that the speed distance sensor signal goes directly to the instrument cluster, and for whatever reason it's spliced into the SBEC-II?
if so there would be 2 outputs from the SBEC-II going to the instrument cluster: tach signal and the check engine lamp
and speed distance signal goes directly from tranny to instrument cluster
please lmk guys, i need to know if i need to build my own instrument cluster or being able to run it with the haltech unit
