Believe it of not. Money will be paid for a cable shifter for a 525 trans. Anybody got an 84 or 85 Daytona (what other years/models??) that came with a cable shifted 525?

So it is any 525 equipped 84 through 86 Lazer or a Daytona.
Especially the trans bracketry but cables and shifter would be nice too.

Hot diggity.

If you do, I need the bracketry that mounts to the trans WITH the shift arms that are on the shafts (for the cable hook up whatchacallit dealies), and the cables and shifter of course. Oh, and take a pic for me. I don't know what it all is supposed to look like. :lol:

I will have to check at my shop on saturday. I know I have the shifter, but will have to look to see if I have any of the brackets.

John,
I know we've been pm'ing back and forth about a 525 shifter assembly, so after work today
I had a look in my shifter area (pic #1) one of these should be the shifter from the GLHS when I did the 555 conversion, but it's not:o I suspect it may be hidden in my less than orginized 'scrap metal/materials' pile (pic #2) If so, it may never see the light of day, the pile goes back 4 feet or so under the shelf... I am planning a quick yard trip tomorrow between surgeries, the yard I am going to is usually pretty worthless though:( Still I'll check it out and call you if something useable is there.
