OK, here's a new rod question that someone may have experience with (allmotor?):
For my NA race engine, I want to take the 2.4 crank and turn down the rod pins to use Honda bearings (they're smaller diameter which means less friction and I can offset grind the throws 1-1.5mm). The problem is, they're 0.944" wide instead of 1.031" like the stock 2.4/2.5 bearings. So, how do you fix that? Has anyone ever done anything like this?
Another plus, is that there are a ton of slightly used Carrillo NASCAR rods available that will fit my application. They sell for nearly nothing on eBay...
