I need a new fuel tank filler tube seal where the tube goes into the fuel tank for a 1990 Shadow CS. Where in the heck can I get one? Thanks for any help!

My father in law's car is in bad need of one. Hard part to find. I may have to call some dealers to see if they can get one. Web browsing hasn't worked for me!

Try the dealer. Last one I picked up was about $8.

Might help if the part number is still legible on the grommet. If not, let me know, I've got one for a Shadow that I can still read the part number on.

Most dealers should have these in stock or in a warehouse nearby, I think they're still using the same part for some cars.

Will this part work for a G body? My dealer could get me a roll over valve and the seal for that but not this part. Also, any hope for the gasket around the fuel filler at the gas cap?

I'll answer my own question. Under the gunk is the part number. And it is....5217578.
