How do I run diagnostics on my OTC 4000e?

Bought the scanner and didn't get the instruction manual (what was I thinking:confused: ). Can anyone tell me how to run it for diagnostics?

what do you want to do ? to read live data just push yes i have to look for codes to start diagnostics.AL

My son's car has no power, intermittant high idle and some other symptoms. I want to check sensor operations and perform switch tests. I think that these tests will help to find the problem(s).

on the live you can check coolant volt age maybe to low and won,t warm up. i will go look for my book .AL

What cartridged are you using? I have both patherfinder 93 and 96. Menus in both are sligthly different as is how you move around the menus.
