How is that turbo? I was interested in one of those as my brother has a 6.5 TD. Do you have any specs on it?

The pics don't show up?

turbo spools good... don't know the specs.

it'll make well past 20psi. i'll find out the exact RPM it will spool by later. if i were to guess, i'd say it'll be fully spooled by 3500rpm.

I was also plumbing in a FMIC in my 92 R/T and was considering routing on the passenger side like you did but i didnt think i could fit the piping with the A/C compressor there. I have a couple questions:

1) what size is that piping you're using? 2.5", 2.25" ?
2) Could you post another picture of the piping on the passenger side where it dives down towards the intercooler?
3) any other tips for making that routing work?

Thanks, and looks great!

Chris

i would imagine the spirit is going to have more room than the shadow does. it's all 2.5" .... it's a pretty tight fit down there.

here's a crappy pic.

i am having an issue with the piping touching the alternator pulley sometimes. i'm going to need to built a support to keep it off of there. i'll try and get a better pic tomorrow when i make a bracket for it.

i thought i would be able to fabricate all the steel part, but a friend ended up helping. i'm glad he did, as that section looks to be a pain. i'm not sure i could have done it.

as you can see, the A/C isn't functional ... yet.... this is florida. it will work when it gets warm again. :D

from a 2k stab... goes to about 1psi instantly. by 2200 it's at about 3psi. by 3500ish it's at 10psi. from 10psi it spools very fast. it'll be at whatever boost you want in the next couple hundred RPM. considering it will pull to 6k, that's not a bad powerband. i know i dont race anyone at 3500rpm. :thumb:

typing it out makes it sound pretty laggy.... buy driving the car, it's not bad at all.
